Prime & Composite Numbers

What is a so called prime number? Well a prime number is a number that is divisible only by itself and 1. Primes are all greater than 1. They are also the so called "building blocks" of numbers.
Composite numbers. These are whole numbers that are also less greater than 1. But the difference is that a composite number is not a prime number and has factors other than 1 and itself.
This link will take you to a page talking about prime numbers. And the composite link is right here, it will also take you to a page that explains composite numbers in more detail.
